Hey Everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas despite the new restrictions.
We’ve now entered Tier 4 in Brighton & Hove. Another devastating blow not just to the Personal Trainers in Hove but to the individuals and small businesses that make up our Hove community.
The news came as a bit of a shock to most as we were sure we’d be hitting tier 3 before tier 4, although we do agree with the highest level of restrictions to flatten the curve, it comes at a crucial time for our business.. January!
This year has been a tough one from start to finish. We’ve had to adjust our ways of doing business as well as adjusting our way of life. 2020 has certainly been a lesson in resilience and commitment, with 2021 starting in much the same way. We just need to stay strong and together even though we’re apart! The light is at the end of the tunnel.
Our original plan was to continue training between Christmas and new year but since the news we’ve decided to use this time to implement our January plans.
Tier 4 rules state that 121 Personal Training can only continue outdoors or online for as long as Brighton & Hove is under the highest tier. Unfortunately the time of year is a really limiting factor, with short days and adverse weather being the deciding factor on our schedule. So how can we counter this? Whilst the days are now getting longer, we’re working on constructing an outdoor, sheltered area by the studio so we can continue training with you, using our equipment and enjoying the service you love.. without being battered by the weather. Until then, we'll be braving the weather for outdoor sessions at Hove Lagoon or working online for the early morning and late evening sessions.
Please take the time to fill out this questionnaire to give us a bit more insight into your feelings about training through Tier 4.
As soon as we know any more regarding updates to our tier status we’ll let you know and we hope to see you as soon as possible!
